Who do the following lines of poetry apply to most in the imaginary GW debate?

He that complies against his will

Is of his own opinion still

Which he may adhere to, yet disown,

For reasons to himself best known

Samuel Butler (1612-1680)

I agree with pegminer. It is like Galileo. Some people who disagree with the scare-mongering of the warmers follow Galileo in both people trying to ruin their careers and in actually following the scientific method and observed data as opposed to computer or made-up models that have proven inaccurate.

    Good call Pegminer.

    Noah H,

If you are considering a job in poetry, I suggest not quitting your day job.

I don't think it applies to most, because I don't think there is much complying against one's will going on. A better example might be Galileo.

Why do you think the GW debate is imaginary. After climate gate exposed the AGW fraud the debate has gotten more intense.
