Large 25" Tube TV does not work any more. Can we Fix it cheaply?
It worked until it wont turn on. Hav no car to put it in, but might try to tinker with it.

Rather than spend any money repairing an old tv, you would be better off buying a used CRT Sony Trinitron off of craigslist.org in your area. People sell CRT tvs very cheaply and getting a working Sony would be a good tv.

Sometimes, it is as simple as replacing a $0.50 fuse that was soldered on, or replacing a few capacitors that may have dried out.
Caution, as said before: Tube TVs can store dangerous voltages, even if unplugged.
You might find free advice if you ask at the local amateur radio club, or by asking an electronics instructor at the nearest community college.

Best thing to do would be to go to local TV shop and find out. Do not do it yourself if you don't know what you are doing and guessing by how you said tinker I am guessing you don't. Tube TV can shock you very powerfully even though they are not connected to power.
