have you ever felt spiritually sick?

I've done 15 funerals this year and after the stillborn baby last week I don't feel nothing ,but numb and empty . It's so hard to know what to say to the family and friends being the pastor . I don't have no words of comfort

Yes I have lived as a Spiritually sick and spiritually dead person in my own living hell for many years. God redeemed me from that spiritual abyss when I allowed him in and repented to get the bad out and the good in.

Be thankful the 15 you have buried are now safe with the Father and will no longer be tormented by earthly pursuits. To be reminded all of our life's journeys will end for us all with a blissful reunion of our spirit with God and the spirits of our fellows.

It is very taxing for one person to console so many as the loved ones, families, and friends, of 15 in less than a year. I lost my dad and three friends one very close at the age of 14. This was a contributing factor in my spiritual hell as was incidents when I was younger and the hate and fear they caused. I would think your grief for those left behind is the main reason. With God's help they will get through these losses and you will too. God will make that possible if you get down on your knees and ask him. And while you are there, You need help. Ask God to send you some. He will. He sent you me. I have an email connection at my answers profile page. Write to me if you would like. It helps to have someone to share your burdens with. I'm not ordained, just a redeemed sinner who needs to help others and follow Jesus' way to be ok with himself. Maybe a shoulder to cry on or a friend to reflect with can ease your grief.

No, less than no circumstances. I stay enormously uncomplicated. I do purchase solid camping out kit because I do distinct backpacking. I easily have a great mountain bike because I experience plenty. i don't think of God needed us to have "dull" lives, so I do spend a number of my funds on the failings i understand i will placed to solid use. I donate distinct my time and funds to assist others. i imagine it is more advantageous significant than possessing issues that i will in no way use.

Your congregation needs to pray for your strength. Everyone comes to the pastor for relief. But what about the pastor's relief and problems?

I thought I was once but then I realized it was just teh guilt of the church trying to keep my mind closed.

Time to vacation and get your love back....

....no love, no emotion, no ministry.

.........get away, God knows how to take care of the sheep while you rest.
