need help going to file an ex parte tomorrow in california?

So i'm about to go file an ex-parte tomorrow at the lameroux justice center, near the block of orange.

am I suppose to call in advance or something? because i'm planning to go there tomorrow at 7:00 am.

go to the family law clerks' office to file an ex parte, and pay the 40 dollar fee, and hopefully see the judge at 8:30am. when they are heard.

but i'm doing research now, some websites are stating I gotta call the clerks office today, so i can go in tomorrow? is that right?

no body likes surprises. If your claim is such that under the law the judge must rule in your favor (based on precedent or for the protection immediate of a party ) he/she will grant your ex parte motion without call to the opposing party.

However if there is no threat or the answer could be either way, they may want a heads up call to let you know it won't be heard. Calling a judge's clerk won't hurt, but it can help.
