If reincarnation was proved correct would that mean an end to racism?
And not only racism but any kind of prejudice, bigotry, hatefulness or selfish behaviour.
I mean, that person you are abusing might have been your friend, or your granny or your beloved dog!
They might once have been your own mother!
Before anyone moans about using the word reincarnation and not rebirth....communication is key.
@ mayumi, reincarnation suggests a non changing self being reborn, time and time again. Where as rebirth, I think, suggests something a little more fluid. To be honest my minds gone a bit blank at the moment. Ive forgotten some stuff. Opps!
@ GoldenGael, Taking into account your trip to India and seeing the injustice I will now get started.
In India they believe in reincarnation, to my knowledge they have yet to prove it to be so.

The most thorough scholar who tackled this subject was Ian Stevenson. He studied some 2,500 cases. He published a book called 20 cases suggestive of reincarnation. If you are serious, you should buy the book, but its more a scientific work, and not a novel. What I can tell you, is that he did prove, beyond a reasonable doubt (might say shadow of a doubt) that the memories recalled by children who had no access to the individual, who was traced, were accurate. The issue is, can this prove reincarnation? And the answer is no, it can't, but many people choose to believe it so.
If you read the book closely, some curious facts emerge, and to avoid repeating myself, you can read my critique in one chapter of a book I have written: Is Reincarnation an Illusion? I believe it is.
Source(s): http://new-birth.net/booklet/reincarnation.PDF Yes India still has a caste system, where people are discriminated against even though the majority of folks there would believe in reincarnation. In fact they have believed it so long, I doubt anyone would question it in that country. - Anonymous1 decade ago
i think that's a good idea, but honestly i don't think that proving reincarnation to be correct would be enough for everyone to stop believing in other things too. i mean everyone says that they have proof that their faith is correct, and look we still have like 5 billion different religions lol.
btw.. what's the difference between reincarnation and rebirth?

It has not worked in India, so why would it work anywhere else; and before you get started, I have been to India and I saw how the poor were treated, and they are of the same Race:

No because there would still be no guarantee that one wouldn't continue to be reborn the same race.
Furthermore, if there was no memory of the past life, no one could be sure they hadn't always been the same race.

Moot question since reincarnation does not happen.
Hebrews 9:27 And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,
I don't abuse people because I love my Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.

Both science and religion teach that people share a common ancestry and that does not seem to have much effect.
Racism is not really about hate it is about egotistical people who need to deflect blame.

No because people would be saying, remember your karma. If you do bad you'll be reborn as a n***** or something like that.

Nah, because the sort of people who are racists tend to be immune from reason.
