What’s the best ice cream to go with apple pie?

Vanilla is the classic, and I would use it with cherry or blueberry pie, but I like french vanilla with apple pie, I feel it complements the cinnamon in the pie well.

Breyer's has a really good vanilla bean that has a little more flavor than your basic vanilla. It all depends on taste though and what compliments the pie itself. If there's a lot of cinnamon and sugar in it then I would go with vanilla bean because it's a little less sweet. But if the pie is a little more bitter/sour apple taste I would go with french vanilla or maybe a white chocolate... that would be yummy... You're not set into one kind. The best part about it is that experimenting can't really go wrong... Ice cream is like sex. When it's good it's really good. When it's bad. It's still pretty good. Best of luck and good eats!

I'd go with French Vanilla in a quality ice cream. But if you've made the pie with slightly tart apples, try Dulce de Leche. It has a caramel back flavor that goes well with apples.

I hate to even call it a diet, because it's really just the real way that humans have eaten for almost 1.9 Million years, as opposed to the modern-day processed food diet full of grains, sugars, and processed vegetable oils.

french vanilla because it is more dense than regular Vanilla ice cream my favorite is Horizon Organic or Brewers

vannila ice cream is the best but do not get french vannila if you want it to be extra special then add a little mint on top. o plus i think instead of a swirl of carmel you should go with choclate
