ohio st . president says boise st and tcu does not deserve bcs championship game?

This guy is whining that the BCS is working like it's designed to work. Oregon and Auburn are miles ahead in points over also undefeated Boise State and TCU. And it's mostly because of the strength of schedule the voters consider and which is also a major factor in the computer ranking systems.

If he doesn't like the way the BCS is working.. then he should lead the effort to design a playoff system that would include the Big 10 champion and perhaps other top ranked Big 10 schools.

Or, he could schedule games against Boise State and TCU, and other good non-BCS teams. People would pay to see those.

Like many college admins, coaches, and fans.. he's fine with the BCS when it's working for his particular school, but whines when it doesn't.

Boise State and TCU deserve to be in the national title game, but only if Auburn or Oregon loses. According to the Anderson-Hester rankings, which factor in conference strength, Boise and TCU have the 66th and 58th best schedules, respectively. Oregon's is 52nd and Auburn's is 35th. So it isn't like those two haven't played anyone good, it's just that Oregon and Auburn have played better teams.

ohios strength of schedule is 59th in the fbs. they havent beaten a single top 10 team. tcu is 67 and boise in the 70s. but unlike ohio state, they have beated at least 1 top 10 team. so no, he has to shut his dumb *ss and make sure hes making statements that he can back up. and if he complains about them, then how come he doesnt scedule a game with them? both teams litterally go through as many top 25 aq teams as they can.

You hit it right on the nose, if there was ever a team that should be barred from playing in the BCS championship game it is Ohio State, they either are choking dogs or are vastly overrated, my opinion is both of those things.

boise state definitely can be in the BCS because they are undefeated it doesn't matter if they play easy teams if they are undefeated than they can be in it they are better than every team in the college football nation so don't be saying teams shouldn't be in the BCS championship game if they beat easy teams than let them get crushed at least they were better than all the other teams and made it to the stinken game just let THEM PLAY

They do not play anybody strong all season and do not deserve to play in the BCS. Anyone can go undefeated playing cupcake teams but try playing in the Big 10 or the SEC and I doubt TCU or Boise State would be undefeated.
