Muslims: If Mohammad is God's prophet...?

I don't believe that Mohamed was God's prophet. I know in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. Mohamed was a mere man which is why he couldn't do what Christ did.

We Muslims do believe in Both Muhammad and Jesus and all God's prophets.

All prophets did miracles, propht Muhammad peace be upon him splitted the moon into two halves. Prophet Jesus peace be upon him brought the dead back to life.

After all, only God gave them the authority to do such miracles.

1- We do believe in Jesus the Messiah. He was a Human messenger from God, he had the Gospel (Injil / Bible) with him and we do believe in the TRUE Bible, in which he mentioned that another prophet will come after himm which is Muhammad - peace be upon them both.

2- Jesus the Messiah did not die on the cross, because God raised Jesus up to him, and saved him from the Jewish murderers. According to Islam, Jesus will come back and lead the believers (aka Muslims) and fight the evil.

Ask any Muslim on the planet, we all believe this.

If he was not the Gods Prophet, then today Islam wouldnt have been the SECOND LARGEST RELIGION followed on EARTH.

Islam would not have been a FASTEST GROWING RELIGION of the world, still After 14 centuries.

Muslims believe in Jesus, Muhammed (saw) and all other prophets of God including Moses.

Now Moses was given powers by God, would you compare him and Jesus and say, well Moses hand would shine, howcome Jesus's Hand didnt? You wouldnt say that or do that as all these different miracles were given to different prophets so they can convince people that they are the prophet's of God and they want people to follow the religion which is considered right by God!

Now far as miracles are concerned, the Holy Quran was revealed upon Muhammed (saw), its been over 1400 years since its revelation and not EVEN A WORD in it has been altered up till today. Forget the word, Not EVEN A LETTER has been altered. It is in its complete original form. Unlike other religious sriptures (which muslims bleieve in) such as Bible, Taurah, and Zaboor which have been altered over times.

You talk about historical records, just take an example of BIBLE itself, so many things contradict with it, Why is that? Did God change them? First he said to Christians NOT TO EAT PORK and later he said well after JESUS you are all free to eat what you want? << 100s of things about historical records can be questioned. While as Word of GOD can never be questioned as it stays the same!!!!!

Other miracles you talk about regarding prophet Muhammed (saw), its been mentioned in many places in Holy Quran, even at that time people used to ask the same question to the prophet himself. God replied about their questions and simply said to the people that when we sent Miracles via Jesus, Moses and other prophets, you never believed in them. Do you think if we send more miracles you would believe? Verily we know you wouldnt believe. All nations that were shown Miracles in their times and still didnt believe in Prophets, they were all destroyed. You dont even find their Ruins. Such as Nation of Noah and so on.

Because Mohammad (PBUH) had no intentions to prove himself and God by conducting miracles and phanomenal activities. He spread the word which was true and left it upon the ordinary people without intimidating them with the powers of God. It was left upto people to believe or not.

For your information, there is a line present in the moon's circumference as if it was split into two parts. This was a miracle done by Mohammad(PBUH) and has been proven by Neil Armstrong after witnessing the split-line upon his landing on the moon.

Obvisiously, you don't know anything about Islam if you're asking why Prophet Muhammed did not do anything beyond human power. Please, before you ask a question about Islam, make sure you read about it first so you don't waste your time.

And (remember) when 'Îsa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), said: "O Children of Israel! I am the Messenger of Allah unto you, confirming the Taurat [(Torah) which came] before me, and giving glad tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be ahmad. But when he (ahmad i.e. Muhammad peace and blessing be upon him) came to them with clear proofs, they said: "This is plain magic."

Quran 17:90-93

And they say: "We shall not believe in you (O Muhammad), until you cause a spring to gush forth from the earth for us

"Or you have a garden of date-palms and grapes, and cause rivers to gush forth in their midst abundantly;

"or you cause the heaven to fall upon us in pieces, as you have pretended, or you bring Allah and the angels before (us) face to face;

"or you have a house of zukhruf (like silver and pure gold), or you ascend up into the sky, and even then we will put no faith in your ascension until you bring down for us a Book that we would read." Say (O Muhammad): "Glorified (and Exalted) be my Lord [(allah) above all that evil they (polytheists) associate with Him]! am I anything but a man, sent as a Messenger?"

Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the last (end) of the prophets. And Allah is Ever All-Aware of everything.

Fusilat 6: Say ( unto them O Muhammad ) : I am only a mortal like you . It is inspired in me that your God is One God , therefor take the straight path unto Him and seek forgiveness of Him . And woe unto the idolaters ,

The Quran is his miracle.

It is unfortunate that Jesus did not leave any book behind because his followers couldn't even get their stories straight.

He in fact did :) He was strong as 40 mens, he was able to control djinn, bird and wind, he was able to see angel, he is the only men that was able to see heaven and hell.

He was able to see satans and way more :)
