  • Why do americans keep pronouncing J instead of I?

There are names, some of them steaming from the Bible which are written incorrect, yet no revision of the Bible corrects them. Example John instead of Ion, Jesus instead Iesus or Isus, Luke instead of Luca. Those mistakes appeared mainly because the names where first written in german which has a different way of pronouncing them. My question is why didn't anyone correct these?

  • why do catholics claim that the orthodox separated from them?

At the great schism there where 5 patriarchs. Even if the conflict was between two of them, the other three took the side to the patriarch of the Constantinople and the Roman one. Also the claims that Papacy comes from Peter is false as Peter preached mostly in Jerusalem and Israel, while the one that preached and put bishops in Rome was Paul. The first two bishops of Rome where anointed by Paul and not Peter. Based on all this is not more accurate that the catholic church split from the orthodox rather than the other way around?

  • Why do some people value the life of an animal more than a human?

I know many people (especially women) who constantly give food to vagrant animals, but of a homeless person comes to them and asks for some food they are offended. I find this whole behaviour repulsive. What is your opinion?

  • why do people are unwilling to learn?

People today are unwilling to learn anything that is not in their area of work. For instance you go to a friend that asks you to fix their computer. As a nice friend you do. You try to explain them some basics and then is like their brain stops working. They are unwilling to learn basic stuff. Even if they seem to understand when you explain them in one week they will forget everything you told them. Also annoying the fact everyone today seems to believe you need a specialist for everything.

  • How can Allah be the God of Abraham?

when In both the Torah and New Testament God is described as the truth. Also The God of Abraham is described as incapable of lying. On the other hand the god from Qumran is described as the greatest deceiver. Since the one called The Father of Lies is Satan, my only conclusion is that Allah is Lucifer.

  • If evolution is true...?

Why then 95% of the DNA is not coded in genes , but has the exact purpose to prevent such mutations as those demanded by evolution and reglement mutations to be only under certain limits? You see the biggest problem with evolution is that many mutations have to stack up. These mechanisms prevent this. Once a mutation is no longer needed it is flushed out in maximum two generations. This makes evolution impossible.

  • Why people still claim when we are closely related to chimps?

when that 98% of similarities comes from 5% of actual DNA, the rest being considered junk DNA?

Note: The so called junk DNA is called this only because we do not know what it does. If alteration to it are made in most cases severe diseases occur so the DNA it is not in fact useless. Also this massive portion of DNA is totally different from the one of all other animals.

  • Atheists: Aren't you hopeless?

Ok, you say you do not believe in God. The question does not revolve around God, but the existence of a soul:

if you believe there is a immaterial soul then you must wander how it appeared and you get to have to admit at least the possibility for God to exist.

If there is no immaterial soul then everything is subject to the laws of causality, ergo everything is already predetermined. All you have done or will do was determined at the beginning of time. Is is not a sad thought?

That makes me believe you are hopeless. What do you think?

  • why are angels represented beardless?

In every icon angels are represented beardless, long haired and with seemingly woman features. This is in total contrast with all trustworthy stories of angel encounters. In all of them they are regarded as young men (meaning around 25 as this was the age of maturity in judaism) . Also since the law prevented a man to shave his beard (in christianity for gentiles this is not impose but rather strongly suggested) or leave his hair longer than the level of his shoulders. We also have no biblical or apocryphal text that regards angels as being seen as children or as females. All angels (we are talking about the 3rd choir) look just like men around age 25. Still icons show this discrepancies.

Suggestions that have included documented reasoning will be rated higher, trolls will be reported as abused.

  • why do muslim believe good jinn exist?

to quote from a definition an imam gave, most (if not all) of the jinn that enter in contact with humans are evil. So the question arises: what prove (except the word of mohammad) do you have that good jinn exist? we call them demons.

  • why do people like to put silly questions and pretend to be answerable?they think this makes them more smart?

so... I've read a lot of these so called unanswerable question , and found they can be put in three categories:

    1. answerable if you have studied the question's domain. (you cannot expect someone to know everything)

    2. answerable if used common sense (these are the most of them, and usually are badly formulated , or the premise of the question is wrong. ex: why does glue does not glue to the inside of a glue bottle? actually once you opened it (i.e. came in contact with air) or left in the sun long enough it does . just takes more time than most people are willing to leave it opened).

    3. etymology questions (i hate those, they are very stupid)

    4. questions you cannot answer because you do not have sufficient data on the subject.

I would say that most questions fell in the first three categories, so I Challenge you to put me any so called answerable question. I will try to answer it as quickly as possible.
