What makes a "Happy Thanksgiving" for you?

People and giving thanks. I have so much to be thankful for that it's good to be reminded of it once in a while. My wife said to me " What would we do if we lost our house?" I said, " At least we have a car too so we'd have a dry place to sleep!" If we lost our car, we have a tent. If we lost the tent, we have lots of warm blankets and sleeping bags. We are so close yet such a long way from the homeless on the street. Our neighbors are having a very rough time so when we were at the store, we each bought the minimum amount of groceries so we qualified for a 5 dollar turkey and gave them one. Told them they were giving them away. THAT'S what makes Thanksgiving for me. Turkey leftovers don't hurt either LOL.

This inquiring mind has a great Thanksgiving when I stay away from my eternally fighting family. They never get together without a knock down, drag out fight.

i'm thankful that i don't live in the jungle/forest--where i can be eaten at any moment by another predator.
