Should it bother me that her "ex" could be my daughter's teacher?
My daugher is enrolled in an extracurricular program and we just found out that the current instructor is leaving and it turns out that one of the candidates to replace him had a casual fling with my wife (before we met, when they were in high school).
Had it been an ex-boyfriend I think it would bother me less, the fact that it was just a casual fling bothers me more.
I know it shouldn't bother me at all but it does. I'm not worried about anything being rekindled or anything like that, and it actually annoys me that I even care, but I can't shake this feeling.
I haven't said anything to my wife because I don't want to come across as petty and jealous.
Any thoughts on how to get over this annoying feeling?

Do not worry. Don't make a big deal and be close to your wife. The more you be nerves and show your emotions the farther you get from your wife, and make this to be a big deal. Try to make your wife happier by paying more attention to her, that's what ladies need. Love, attention, feel every single part of her body and say something good about them. Like such beautiful eyes, soft hair, ..., and look at her like you really mean it, the way a new guy look at a lady.
Women get fool easily by this kind of attentions and talks.

If it was a causal fling, no worries, you have the ring. If you suspect chemistry between the two, make sure you make her remember why she married you-be the extra wonderful guy your wife fell in love with. Trust your wife untill you pick up a clue she can't be. Those two have history, it's ancient history, remember that when they happen to meet and talk. Lastly, go to her, not Yahoo answers. Communication (lack of) is what drives most martial fidelity problems.
