Which is better Biochemistry Bsc or Molecular biotechnology Bsc?

I have currently two options Biochemistry Bsc and Biology Msc for Neurology (or Imunobiology)

Or Biotechnology Bsc with Msc the same as above. Which is better?

I can't seem to decide whether to take Biochem or Biotech.....I would like to focus on research rather than industrial market that's why I'm leaning more towards Biochem. What do you think?

look at the university course structure and course content and see which you prefer. personally if you really don't know exactly what topics you enjoy studying i would say biochemistry because it is less specific than neurobiology or immunobiology.

it technically doesn't really matter, although biotechnology will probably have more physics stuff in and if you don't like physics then don't do it.

bottom line: do what you enjoy. don't choose it because of the potential job because three years down the line you can change your mind.

  • Neither is better, they are simply different.

Give me a good forensic scientist over a shitty physicist any day. It's not what science you do, it's how good at it you are.
