why cant I be the ONLY one to delete my emails?
dont like it that they are 2x a week deleted from delete box by Yahoo.
would prefer to do it myself when i want to.

Yahoo deletes mail from the Trash folder at unpredictable intervals. (Sometimes mine have been left there for nearly two weeks)
If you want control over when the mails are truly deleted, add a new folder to My Folders, labelled 'My Trash', 'Junk to Go', 'Gone, not Forgotten' or whatever you want. Then, instead of checking the box and deleting the mail, check the box and select Move - choose your new folder. DO remember to go back and clear it out before it builds up too far, though.
If you save Sent Mail to that folder, it too builds up, and eventually slows the loading of Yahoo Mail to a crawl. The more saved mails you have on the account, the slower the web page loads.
