Does anyone have experience with Mosin Nagant after market stocks?

I have read many reviews on the ATI stocks having warped forends. Maybe they have fixed these problems by now. I seen BOYD makes wood stocks for them too. Are there any other monte carlo or other stocks being made for these rifles other than ATI and BOYD? I got more than one Mosin and one is going to be a project gun. So far Rock Solid brand scope mounts seem to be the strongest looking scope mount for them i have seen. If you know of a better one besides a mount that free hangs unsupported over the bolt let me know as well. So far Rock Solid mount looks the best though.

I can tell you I will never buy another ATI product. I purchased one of their aftermarket stocks and I practically had to remanufacture it to make it fit the firearm it was supposed to fit.

Try places like Midway, Brownells or Cheaper than Dirt as a source for these aftermarket parts. They may have what you are looking for.

I personally think the original Mosin stocks look pretty neat.

I have had mine for awhile now, it handles and shoots so well I cannot think why anyone would want to change anything. Maybe a scope, but I have other guns if I need a scoped weapon.
