Surface Area of a rectangular prism...? 10 points!?
If the surface area of a rectangular prism is 219cm squared. Then what is the length, width and height?
URGENT.
Thank you. :)
I had to convert the measurements from a cone. The cone measurements were
h=10.9 cm
r= 4.5 cm
s= 11 cm
It is a revised product for a cone paper cup. It does not have the top face.
okay, I just found out the height is 11

the area of the base = W * L
the area of 2 sides = W * [sqrt(h^2 + (L/2)^2)
the area of the other 2 sides = L * [sqrt(h^2 + (W/2)^2)
Total surface area = 219 = W * L + W * [sqrt(h^2 + (L/2)^2) + L* [sqrt(h^2 + (W/2)^2)
I think you need to know at least one of the dimensions in order to figure this out!

You can't possibly solve this, as there is an infinite number of possibilities. Does your question state that they must all be integers, or give a ratio?
