Does exercise relieve stress.(school stress)?

I plan to take at least 1/2 an hour to an hour out of my busy schedule to take a walk with my dog to loose weight. But, I have SO much homework, so it would only pay off for relieving the stress from the homework. Cause otherwise, it would just waste my homework time.

There are a few things that calm me down when I'm stress. When I have free time I sleep, but since I refuse to spend all my free time sleeping I put together Jigsaw puzzles, I go to Barne's & Noble and pick up a good book to read. I've realized that reading takes my mind off everything because I get really involved in the plot. I also watch movies, lots of movies. When none of those things work, and you feel exhausted and tired of everything and everybody, go to a park, sit down and watch all the kids play for a while. Sometimes we don't realize that there are many amazing things around us that we just overlook. When I was 18 or 19 I didn't, but now that I am 23 I enjoy the little things that life brings me. I would also recommend to get a pet, a dog perhaps. Good luck.

A certain level of stress is unavoidable, in modern society, so it is a good idea to develop effective coping methods. Light to moderate daily exercise combats stress. For some people, it helps to visualise a quiet, relaxing scene (imagine, as vividly as you can, that you are on a tropical beach, reclining comfortably; you luxuriate, as the the sun warms you, and a gentle breeze caresses your skin lightly, inhaling the tangy, sea scented, salt laden spray from the sparkling, translucent, aqua waves, crashing on the white, coral beach sand, and feeling the hot sand slip through your fingers in one hand, sipping your favorite drink with the other; all the while, the seagulls call, swoop and cavort playfully overhead in a cloudless, azure sky: you feel just like one of them, free to soar and cartwheel, or just glide in the heavy, humid air, and that this moment will last forever).
