Can I submit the common app to multiple colleges without an extra fee?

For example can I submit my app to Univ. of San Diego and Pepperdine, and just pay one application since it is the same application (besides supplements and what not)? Or do I have to pay for both school's fees?

Thank you.

You pay per school, think of it as paying admissions staff to look at your application from each school. Always check for ways pay a lower fee or waive the fee, some schools will do that if you use their application through their website or if you visit.

You pay per school. If you really wanted to save money, many colleges and universities are waiving the application fee if you apply online to their school directly (not through the common application). So if you want to save some money, it's definitely the way to go but might be a bit more work with essays etc.

The only way to not pay for an application is by applying through the school's website, if they have it. Otherwise, you have to pay for each school no matter which app you use and each school's price varies...
