I've filled out my fafsa in late January have already recieved my EFC (I got a 0), what happens next?

Do I just wait for my schools to get back to me with how much I am eligible for?

What about PELL grants and Stafford Loans information?

I have a submitted my FAFSA, and got an EFC result of 0 (my mom is a sinlge parent) which qualifies me for maximum on grants and loans. I applied to 5 universities and I have already been accepted to my number one choice. I am still waiting on atleast a couple more school before I make a final decision on which school to attend.

Anyway, my question is

Can I begin to apply for Pell Grants even though I am not enrolled in a school yet? ( I just want to have a better idea of how much money I will have so I can consider it when making my decision) Should I wait for what my school/s has to offer?

Overall, I'm just confused with this whole federal aid thing. Any help is appreciated!

I am applying to Butler University and one of the questions they asked was if I was a US citizen or not, I put no since I am only a Permanent resident (green card holder) and it was not a choice, but then it gave me an International Student application... Should I continue with the international app, or should I put in US citizen since I am not really an international student? and would it make a difference in my admission decision somehow?

Academically,I am pretty much as average as you can get.

Average SAT (1580) and ACT (20)

overall GPA of 2.8

But I have great community service, leadership, and extra curricular:

- 4 year varsity tennis

- tennis team captain

- all-league athlete

- varsity track and field for 2 years

- camp counselor since freshman year and 2 years as camp head counselor.

- volunteer tennis instructor at a local tennis camp.

- culture clubs participant

I know I can do better and I honestly am a lot smarter than what my test scores translate but I just want to know my chances of getting into these schools:

- Univ. of San Diego

- ASU (I would really like to go here but not necessarily my top choice)

- Saint Louis University-Madrid campus (this is my #1 choice)

- San Diego State

- Pepperdine (reach school)

For example can I submit my app to Univ. of San Diego and Pepperdine, and just pay one application since it is the same application (besides supplements and what not)? Or do I have to pay for both school's fees?

I'm a junior in high school and I was planning on taking my first SAT test on June 5th, but I just realized that that is also the date of my brother's graduation. I don't want to miss my brother's graduation, and June 5th is the last date for testing for this school year...

so my questions are:

Would this be bad for enrolling into colleges my senior year? Should i sacrifice my brother's graduation and take the test anyway?

I am Junior in high school, and I am considering leaving the country after high school, but I still want to enroll into a university here in the US.

I know someone who is currently studying in Switzerland (she is doing her first two years on college there ), but she is enrolled in a school here in america. i dont have contact with her so i can't ask her myself...I want to do the same thing as she is, but in a different country in Europe.

How do I get into this kind of program? did she do the regular study abroad program? or is something different.

Any help is appreciated, I need as much feedback as possible because I am seriously considering this an option after high school.

I'm a junior in High school right now.... I've been thinking about college and studying abroad.

I thought about just completely going to college in a new country, more specifically in Spain or Australia. I don't know if this would benefit me education-wise.

So my questions are...

Is it better to go to college here in the United States (I live in CA) and just do a study-abroad program? or Go to a university in a different country?

Please consider:

-money (with the economy and everything)

- the quality of education

- standards of living and everything else that goes with studying abroad

I read this article on goal.com with Kaka' saying that Real needs more time to truly become a team, and fully "entertain" the fans and fulfill what is expected of them.

Personally, I'm not completely sure if i want to agree with him. Kaka' is an amazing player (definitely one of my favorite players. If not my favorite over all) and a part of me thinks that what he is saying true... there are plenty of new players, coming from different leagues that have some different playing styles, they have a relatively young team, and (i think) the coach has plenty of things to improve.

Also, I'm just waiting for the time when Kaka' himself steps up as much as he did for Milan and really be the force for Madrid. With Ronaldo and Higuain and many other great players on that team, Madrid really has the potential to be what they were expected to be. ( this should also apply to Ronaldo, although i think he is at a much better position than kaka')

but then again... how much time do they need?! they need to step up or else barca will just completely take over.

what are your opinions of Real Madrid, Kaka' and the other players, and how things are going now?

I went tover to Friendsorenemies.com and they said that Metro Station,Cobra starship, and All time low "will be rotating opening spots each night"

Can someone clear this up for me, so from my understanding only one (from cobra, metro, and atl) will be performing as the opnening act, so we can only see one of the three dependding which venue we're at?

or is it that they all play but its not always at the same order for each venue...?

I'm currently with t-mobile and i really want to get an iphone but i also want to stay with t-mobile. i heard that there will be a new iphone coming out in 09 that will be capable for all networks (other than just at&t) and if not, whats the best way for me to get an iphone without switching to at&t?
