chances of getting into these schools?
Academically,I am pretty much as average as you can get.
Average SAT (1580) and ACT (20)
overall GPA of 2.8
But I have great community service, leadership, and extra curricular:
- 4 year varsity tennis
- tennis team captain
- all-league athlete
- varsity track and field for 2 years
- camp counselor since freshman year and 2 years as camp head counselor.
- volunteer tennis instructor at a local tennis camp.
- culture clubs participant
I know I can do better and I honestly am a lot smarter than what my test scores translate but I just want to know my chances of getting into these schools:
- Univ. of San Diego
- ASU (I would really like to go here but not necessarily my top choice)
- Saint Louis University-Madrid campus (this is my #1 choice)
- San Diego State
- Pepperdine (reach school)
thank you, any input will be helpful!

Pepperdine was my reach school as well... Sadly, I doubts that's going to happen (same for both SD schools and I'm not sure about your #1).
I applied to ASU as a safety school with no intention of going (originally from the East coast, really far from home). I got into all 7 of the colleges I applied to (all were harder to get into the ASU). Then I came out to visit, saw the campus...
and I'm typing this from my ASU dorm room. I DEFINITELY made the right choice. No other place like it. If you haven't seen the campus yet, I would highly recommend it.

It depends on your major. At the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, you most likely would be on the fence for their business and engineering schools. Recently, I heard a story about the valedictorian of Naperville (a nice suburb of Chicago) not getting into U of I's business school with a 29 on her ACT.
