Any Recommendations on good blogs to read for School assignment? help?

Okay I need a blog to follow for my AP Language and Composition class. Now i don't want something dreadfully boring, i would prefer something fresh and humorous. I do not want any cooking blogs as a majority of my peers are following them. Nothing political either. Keep in mind this is for a school project, not the time for self promoting your online diary. I need one that is semi consistent with a theme, and updates frequently as this is a six week project and i will need a substantial amount of actual writing within the blog (pictures and videos are OK and wanted) as this is a writing class.

Writers i do enjoy are David Sedaris, Jake (Glamour Columnist), authors of fantasy/sci fi books (rob thurman, patricia briggs, libba brey, rachel caine)

I'm into music, Fashion, travel, symphonic and marching band, anything interesting.

Searching for a blog proved harder than i thought, many were old or not updated frequently at all.

Please give me some recommendations

Check out Tom and Lorenzo at http://projectrungay.blogspot.com/ They write about fashion, television, pop culture, and celebrities. It's very well written, funny, and updated consistently. Everything else I read regularly is political, sorry.

    (LOVE David Sedaris.)

Lot's of great schools have that sort of thing. Some Catholic schools go to class year round. Instead of a summer vacation for three months you have a bunch of shorter breaks thoughout the year. I guess it is up to what you want. If you want to have it easy and not learn much and work at the mall - shoot for the public school. Yeah! If you want to learn and become a really sharp person and go on to college and become a lawyer, doctor or something professional - beg your mom to send you to a Catholic school and work hard. Life is what you make it sweetheart. Make your own choices. You can either work hard now and have lots of free time and money to play and live better your whole life - or you can slack off now and continue to have to work really hard, low paying jobs and struggle. It is called an investment. Just like you save money and it hurts for a while saving, but in the long run you are rich. Decide what you want to do with your investment of time.

My music blog luminousmuse.wordpress.com is the only one I know that covers classical and pop music. It is well respected and commented.
