Assassins creed brotherhood help?

I think I know who you're talking about, but if I'm wrong then I apologize.

In general, for horse assassinations I try to take them out with an aerial hidden blade assassination.

How I did it was I observed his route, and noticed that he passed by a small wall every now and then as he completed his circular patrol. Hang on the side of the wall that is opposite to the captain, and then jump up and onto him as he nears it.

If that fails, you can ride in on horseback and do a horse-hijack assassination, jumping onto his horse and stabbing him with the hidden blade in the same move. Very useful.

If you can get to a rooftop above him you can assassinate him from above.

i done it by taking out the guard on patrol on the building to the right of the junction if approaching from the town central, i then used my assassins to take out the 2 guards by the entrance just down to the left and as the captain fled past them, i shot him with my hidden pistol from the roof of that small building.

If you have recruits just use them. They never alert the Captain so he wont run away plus they will always attack from the most suitable postion.
