What are the primary exhibits on display at the Jimmy Carter Museum?

I would just like to know what the "main attraction" exhibits are at the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum in Atlanta.

Big museum...well worth a visit. In so far as exhibits, let's start with the Heads of State Gift exhibit. Foreign visiting heads of state exchange gifts and Mr. Carter has a number of interesting gifts on display. Additionally Mr. Carter requested that each state donate a gift representing their state and those items are on display.

A replica of the Crown of St. Stephen is on display. There is an interesting story behind the crown and museum docents (or the website) explain the significance.

The Jimmy Carter Library and Museum has photographs, documents, and displays of the Carter presidency and Jimmy Carter's life.

Every month or two there are special events scheduled at the Museum. Check their website for the event taking place during your visit.

The archives is a repository of approximately 27 million pages of Jimmy Carter's White House material, papers of administration associates, including documents, memoranda, correspondence, etc. There are also 500,000 photographs, and hundreds of hours each of audio and video tape.

To help organized all of the information in the archives, the Library and Museum have multiple opportunities for volunteers and interns.
