Cannon DC310? Finializing DVD?

I have a Cannon DC310. I am trying to finialize a dvd that I just recorded and is full. The camcorder does not promt me to finialize or ask if I want to. I have put it in my computer to see if it will play, it will not. I took it to Bestbuy and they could not do it either... If anyone could walk me through the steps or know a wedsite that can walk me through it. Thank you!

    I know this sounds funny but plug in the power adapter and try to finalize.
