Why Would Windows 7 64 Bit Professional Edition Freeze Up While Installing Norton Security Suite From Comcast?

    This is Mike from the Norton Support Team.

    Did you first make sure that you properly removed any other security software you had installed?

    I would suggest that you follow the instructions in the following odcument to update the definition files and then run a Full Scan to check for threats.

    I don't think its the installation of Norton makes your system, Its most likely something else to do with the system

    Please for the sake of god don't use Norton it has become Bloatware, try NOD32 it's quite nice
