Betty or Veronica (Archie comics)?
I was always a Betty fan myself, even though she throws herself at Archie, who's a total player. She really could do better.

I hate to be the one to say it, but, Veronica. She knows what she wants, and she gets it. She is in total control of her life and she's not as wimpy as Betty.
