My snow plow won't work on my truck?

I have a Western snow plow - 8 ft long - and the plow won't go up or down. I have changed about everything I can think of, except the cables and power box inside the truck. Anyone know what I can do to get it working?

Update:

Joseph - I'll check the power box as it is electrically run. But, there are hydraulics also. A friend, a back-yard mechanic, suggested a loose or broken wire under the dash. I'll have to check that, too. Thanks for your help and knowledge!!

Update 2:

Rob - do you mean there is a fuse that powers the hydraulic pump motor? If so, where is the fuse located?

You have a bad connection to the solenoid that powers the hydraulic pump motor, or the fuse is blown.

This is a common problem with electrically driven hydraulic plow systems.

are there hydraulics? if so then I would check to see if the pump is working, if electrically operated then I would start with the power box

I would change the cables and the power box and if that doesn't work call a mechanic.
