i am with bt broadband, bt took control of laptop, have now got to connect with ethernet cable?

have signed up with bt broadband, and have to connect with ethernet cable..got told the wireless adaptor is switched off, can any one out there tell me how to switch on adapter, so that i don,t have to use ethernet cable...bt cannot fix from their side...any help i would be most grateful for thankyou..

derek, broadband help desk can not fix..

seems the wireless adapter for laptop is switched off within the laptop..bt girl charlene took over laptop and said they cannot fix from their side...have logged on to bt forums to ask for their help...thanks anyway..

    Google your laptop using manufacturer's name and model number (will be on a little label, probably underneath). Look for support pages, download the Owner's Manual. This will tell you how to switch wifi on and off.

    Go on bt forums, you should get help there, bt broadband forums

    BT broadband desktop help...down load their tool and it'll sort all those sort of problems for you
