What should I write about?
Ok so my teacher assigned my junior AP Language class three essays, the problem is they are free writes so she didn't assign topics. :/ Well except the first one.. Which was what my biggest misconception was. I also wrote my second on teens in high school smoking blah blah. So I need some ideas for my third :D Its totally non academic. I'm a seventeen year old girl, so don't say politics or some crap like that. I know that doesn't give you much help but anyone think they can give me some ideas??

Oh. I forgot, it's supposed to be showing retoric and so I need a specific purpose to be proving. Don't know if that helps..

I've always found that it's easiest to write about things I really care about. What are your hobbies or whatever? You could write about fashion trends -- which is the best breed of horse -- how it feels when your best friend says something mean about you -- what you like to eat for breakfast -- how you decide whether to go to school or ditch -- whether you like writing -- and so on, and so on, and so on. If you choose something you're passionate about, the essay will practically write itself.

Maybe a really good time you had? What you did over the summer? If you have a pet, how you got that pet and what he\she is like? Or something less personal, such as how the environment is doing and how we can make it better (boring but plenty of things to write), or maybe the living conditions of third-world countries?
