Backing up Blackberry text messages to the PC?
I am asking on behalf of a friend .... can anyone advise me how to back up text messages to a PC from a Blackberry? Thanks.

Use the desktop software that came with the phone. When the phone is plugged in and the desktop software is running, choose to do a full backup. You can click "advanced" and check for the options of email, texts, call logs.

Joe might well be right, but whenever I have wanted to save text messages I have taken the longer but easier route of just re-typing them into my computer! It sounds silly but there's no loss of authenticity in re-typing them as that's all they are, just text.
