MAC Foundation help!?

I just bought some Sephora foundation and am not impressed, it will definitely be getting returned. So that leaves me in the market for some new liquid foundation and am thinking I will go with the trusted MAC brand (I have used the stuff in the past and know that it works well as well) problem is I have no idea what shade I would need, and there is not a MAC anywhere near me.

This is a picture of me with (cheap) makeup on, this is probably the most natural looking stuff I have used thus far but I can't remember what it was...can you tell me what color foundation you think I am. I want to get MAC studio finished. Also I have REALLY bad Rosaca and acne scarring, which I heard might make a difference in the color foundation I choose. I'm also pretty sure I have neutral undertones.

Thanks for your help

Update:

There are none of those stores near me. I am going to have to order this foundation online the foundation selector helped a little but not too much, just hoping someone could point me in the right direction of a shade.

Update 2:

I would say I have normal to dry skin definitely not oily. I am also prone to acne but when I used MAC foundations in the past I did not have a problem.

    I think you are NW20.

I'm NW15 and you seem slightly darker than me, but honestly I can't tell for sure. It can be tricky getting a foundation without color matching it in person.

NW is for those who have pink undertone and NC for those with yellow undertone.

Not 100% sure, but I'd say NW15. Do you know your shade in other foundations? You can try temptalia.com/foundation-matrix and figure out your MAC shade from there. Also try typing in different shades (MAC NW15, NC15, etc) on youtube or google to get an idea of what those shades look like on other people.

MAC has mostly medium-buildable coverage foundations, which are Studio Fix Fluid, Studio Sculpt, Pro Longwear, Studio Fix Powder, and Studio Tech. Is your skin type oily, dry, or combination? That should be taken into account when picking a foundation. Also, are you acne-prone? If so, you might want to be careful with MAC foundations, since they tend to not go well with acne-prone skin.

    Hope that helps! :)

Edit: Oh, were you looking for just a shade rec or both a shade and foundation rec? haha, anyway, if you do want a foundation rec, I'd say Studio Sculpt, Mineralize (the creme one in the compact), or Studio Tech since you have dry/normal skin. Or any foundation on top of a good moisturizer. Concealer (esp. green-colored ones to cancel out redness from Rosacea) helps if you don't think the coverage is enough.

There are usually MAC stores inside of Macys and the people there will help you find your shade. MAC is amazing! I am 17 and I have been wearing MAC since i was like 12. Its kinda expensive but totally worth it. Their studio fix compact is the best!

Go to your local macys, blooming-dales, nordstrom they should have a mac counter and the girls there are always happy to help you find the right shade. I use the mac studio fix fluid spf 15 and i have to say i love it, i have not found another foundation that works just as great as the one

if you have dry skin i find that mineralize satinfinish is a better choice, i do own the both and prefer the satinfinish. it give a dewy glow to the skin as well and is so smooth. i think it looks and feels better my self but like i said i do own both and the studio fix fluid tends to be flakey on me as i get verry dry skin around my nose. the studio fix is also verry matt. you might want to try the fix+ way. spay over it though it may work better for you that
