Is 1 pill of Xanax 4mg == 16 pills of 0.25 mg?

Hi,

I want to know whether it is ok to take 16 pills of 0.25 mg of Xanax pills in place on one 4mg bar ?

I feel like its a lot of medication taken at time. Please help

Update:

Am asking because I don't have 4mg available right now.

    there is no such thing as a 4mg xanax. i use to eat those things like skittles there pretty awesome so trust me. but no 8 of the 0.25mg white footballs im guessing your talking about would equal a 2mg (xanax bar) which is probably what your holding. take a bar or snort it and drink a beer and you will be on cloud 9, or just take 2 and dont drink.

    0.25mg - white footballs or white circles.

    0.5mg - peach footballs or peach circles.

    1mg - blue footballs, blue circles, or green footballs.

    2mg - white bar, yellow bar,

    there are 3mg but they are xanax xr (extended release) youd have to snort it.

    Source(s): i use to take them.

    Why would your doctor switch you from 0.25 mg to 4 mg all at once?

    Just take the bar, you'd look like a junkie if you popped 16.

    seeing how 16 x .25 = 4, I'm thinking you'll be fine
