Windows Boot Manager Status:0xc000000e. Can't launch Win7 Startup Repair with installation disc?

This problem surfaced after I turned my computer on last night (12/2/10). After the Windows Logo, there's a quick flash of a blue screen with a smaller black box in the middle of it with some text that I can't make out. The computer then restarts itself and gives me two options:

1. Launch Startup Repair (Recommended)

2. Launch Windows Normally

If I try the first, it sends me to a menu telling me how to launch the Startup repair. I follow the instructions and restart my computer with my Win7 installation disc in. When I try going back to Launch Startup Repair, it puts me back to the same screen with the instructions and says this:

Status:0xc000000e

Info: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible.

So I can't start Windows at all, not even in safe mode, and I can't use the Startup Repair. The last thing I want to do is wipe my hard drive and start fresh, but I don't think I can even do that if I can't even use the installation disc. What can I do?

    download a hirens boot cd it boots your pc up even when nothing else works, you can get one off torrent sites get version 10.4 off udaachand dated may 12th it fixed my pc its on demonoid if your not a member registrations are open so join its free

    you can get another version but some of the updated versions dont fix the bios and by what you have said it is similar to problem i had (good luck)

    i've got laughed at why the fly on the wall is being so nosy. What the fly on the wal thinks of what I do,while the fly makes that's life via hiking on excrement and feeding on that's laughable in assessment.

    try alt + F10 then restore it from a manual backup or factory default. If you havnt ever made a backup then you can try to fix it at a shop although they will probably just restore it.
