Does target usually offer the same pay the 2nd time around?

I worked at target for 4 1/2 years and had several raises. I was in my program for my major at school so I had to quit. Gave 2 weeks notice and left on good terms. I started working at cvs overnight. I failed school so I wanted to return to target after 6 months. Went to 3 interviews and was given a job offer. Same job as before but same pay I started out with. Which is almost $3.00 less an hour. Do they usually offer your old pay rate? I have experience with target after 4 1/2 years!! Thanks

Nope they're not obligated because since target is a retail job, I don't think pay is DOE. And they know in this climate if you don't like the pay, they can find someone who's willing to take it. We're in a recession it's the way things work.
