protein content of salad dressing?

I need to know how much protein is in salad dressing? Are there any salad dressings that have no protein? My Dad was diagnosed with Kidney Disease and was put on a LOW protein diet. He is Diabetic too which is really making it hard to find foods he can have. We are more worried about it being low protein now than it being low sugar. Thanks for any help you can give. Pray for us!

Look at the nutrition label. It will tell you what the protein content is. Look where it says "protein"... there will be a number there and a percentage. Most salad dressings do not contain protein.... but any that have dairy will contain a bit. You might want to look into ways to naturally assist the kidneys. There a-r-e ways to build them up. The doctors will not tell you about these things, but a good internet search can provide suggestions. Herbs can help greatly with both. Get your father off of ALL processed foods... they are poison!!!!!! ALL of you should be eating fresh fruits and vegetables.... r-e-a-l food!!! Not just your Dad!!

foods that contain protein: meat of any sort (chicken, beef, pork, game) fish nuts legumes (peanuts, etc) most beans have a mix of protein and starch cheese & other dairy products Unless you have a specific medical condition that requires a low protein diet, I'd highly recommend against it. If you are concerned with weight loss, your best bet is a balanced diet. I would STRONGLY advise you to consult with a registered dietician or a physician before embarking on any sort of diet plan.
