For the last year there has been many complaints about wwe and tna what would you change about both promotions?

to make it a better product for you to watch? And Please no saying i would change wwe rating back to TV-14 or for tna you would rid them of Hogan and Bischoff those answers are overdone so if you can try and dig deep and tell me something creative lol not trying to sound like a douche i just want to hear of some new idea's of what you all would change about both promotions.

BQ: Do people really hate Michael Cole because of his announcing skills or just for the fact that he isn't Jim Ross ?

( Reason for this question is nobody has ever made too much of a big deal about Michael Cole's announcing skills or his annoyance until he took over Jim Ross's job as lead announcer when he retired)

BQ2: Macho Man Randy Savage vs. Rick "The Dragon' Steamboat for the IC title at wrestlemania is arguably considered the best IC championship match of all time but suppose they had set a rematch at the following wrestlemania but for WWF world heavyweight Championship do you think they could of topped the original Wrestlemania match if they had battled it out for the big title at the main event of following wrestlemania or can't the original match for the IC title be topped? (lol this question made sense i couldn't explain it well)

BQ3: People always talk about Undertaker Vs Sting at wrestlemania being the ultimate dream match but what about Mr. Wrestlemania Shawn Michaels vs Sting at the big event if that match were to happen do you think it would be a match of the year candidate or do you think it would be flop?

(Note: i know this match will never happen but thats not the point of the question so don't say this match will never because i already know that lol)

BQ4: What did you think of Jim Ross's heel turn back in late 90's? For the ones that didn't watch it during that time heres a classic clip of one of his heel segments http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3bX0p1gpAU

BQ5: How come whenever Triple H is the champion alot of fans always say he always buries talent and needs to drop the title to somebody else but when he does drop the title and stays out of the title picture alot of fans change their minds and talk about how much he needs to get the title back because the show is much better when he is the champion but as soon he steps back into the title hunt the tides turn again saying he buries talent and needs to stay way from the title lol like really why the constant change of opinions when it comes to Triple H ?

Unintelligent Question: Do you think Kozlov still loves the Double Double E (WWE)? (lol that was one of his first lines when he made his first wwe tv appearance several years ago)

Well i guess thats all this most likely my last act as an Active Y!A member( lol i know everybody says that and comes back) but hopefully this is a good final question.

    Part 3:

As for TNA, I haven't watch as much recently so cannot really answer in a reliable way. I have watched TNA several times but never felt the urge to watch it the following week. TNA just cannot keep me interested or entertained. I don't know whether its because of their product or because I just watched WWE first and grew up with that through my teens. TNA is a decent product but I certainly prefer WWE's direction. even though it gets predictable and tedious at times. WWE is a great product and better than TNA's. That shows because WWE is the biggest company and TNA isn't. I love TNA's women's division and tag team division, whereas I hate WWE's. TNA can change a lot of things, I just don't know what.

BQ: The only commentators I really like are Matt Striker and Tazz. Tazz being my all time fave. never really like Jim Ross cause he botches his words a lot and he gets over-excited at times. However, what I do love about JR, that every other commentator seems to lack, is how much passion JR has and you can tell just from the tone of his voice. he gets to into the matches and calling them. he goes over the top a lot and too far, like over-excited. But he has a lotta passion and he's good at what he does. As for Michael Cole, give credit where it's due, hes playing his character so well cause mostly everyone hates him. I never liked Cole and I don't like his announcing. of the two I do prefer JR's announcing skills and he is the best of all time. Cole is filling his boots and he cannot cut it. I think a lot of people hate on Cole because he is taking JR's place and JR was a popular guy amongst fans. But also they hate on Cole for his character in WWE which he's playing so well. He isn't a terrible announcer. but I personally cannot stand the guy.

BQ 2: I have watched that match back several times and it was a great match. I don't think it would make a difference to the legacy of it if it was for the world title. To me, the IC title is just as prestigious if not more so. The IC title has been at the centre of probably the greatest matches ever and it's been held by some of the best wrestlers of all time. I also think that original matches always seem to be better. Off the top of my head I can only think of one occasion where the second match was better than the original and that was Shawn Michaels Vs Undertaker at Mania. The second one was better. And we all thought the first encounter was amazing, but the second? Wow. So no, I don't think having it for the world title would make any difference or add an prestige to the legacy. it was a great match for the IC title and one that will never be forgotten.

BQ 3: Shawn Michaels Vs Sting at Mania would be an awesome match, however I think Undertaker Vs Sting would be far better because those two are more similar. Sting is like TNA's version Undertaker, and Undertaker is like WWE's Sting. Similar guys and both great in ring from their primes. It would be a match for the ages and something everyone wrestling fan would have wanted to see. Either match could be potential match of the year. because of the names involved and the fact that all 3 are great wrestlers.

Source(s): BQ 4: As you know I thought that video was freakin epic. Awesome! BQ 5: Because a lot of wrestling fans are hypocrites. One week they want this, the next week they want that. One minute they like someone and want them to be world champion, then they're world champion and they hate on them. Booo they're over rated, blah blah. Just proves, you can never please everyone. And only a handful of fans will stick to their opinions and not conform to the majority. Those people are more of the 'true fans' type of people. Unintelligent Question: Unintelligent Answer: Yes, yes he still loves WWE!

    Part 1:

    Second time lucky..... here goes!

Main Question: One thing you stated in your Q was to not use the typical answer of turn WWE TV 14 again, I certainly won't use that as my answer because WWE should NOT turn TV 14.

TV PG is fantastic and it's such a good direction for the company as a whole. One thing in business is some company's limit their market and it's one of the biggest downfalls. Why limit your target market when you can actually target every single person? It doesn't make sense. TV 14 limits who can view. Sure some people under 14 will still watch and so be it. But there are parents out there who would prevent their child from watching because if the rating. TV PG limits no one and it makes WWE accessible for all the ages. Parents don't have to worry about allowing their child to watch WWE because their child will not see cussing every 5 minutes and they will not see live sex celebrations. It's a great direction and I personally like it. It's much more fun to see people all of ages watching and enjoying the WWE. People complain about stuff in WWE and about it being PG, but they clearly still like it enough to keep on watching it because they know EXACTLY what is happening because they're complaining about it day in and day out. TV PG is not the reason for WWE's downfall in PPV buyrates or ratings.

The first thing I'd change is simply just employ new creative writers. Some stuff they come up with now is just terrible. What's the worst thing about it is that the sole idea is actually really really good, but it's booked in totally the wrong way so the original idea as down the toilet. The Nexus stable idea is a great idea on the basis that it's booked correctly. It hasn't been booked right because the current creative writers follow the normality of having the heel never really win a clean fight. There are always interruptions and interferences during matches and nothing seems to end cleanly. Nexus has become boring because all they do is run out and ruin what could've been a good match. But the basic idea of Nexus is actually something that had potential to be a phenomenal stable. But Nexus are now forgettable. When they break up and end, half will probably get released and the rest will get lost in the flow.

Source(s): So I would just get new creative writers. The stories and angle's need to become better and not be recycled goods. WWE needs to once again become unpredictable. For so long now, heel's tend not to finish a match cleanly. They cheat to win, just to get a few boo's. But actually, it hurts their character because it just makes them look weak when actually they could be a good wrestler. They need to create dominant heels who actually look impressive and scary without cheating or having interference. It's same old stuff and predictable and it will gradually keep losing fans if this does not change.

WQ:) What changes would you make in WWE and TNA Wrestling to improve?

    -Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling (TNA)

    1. Release Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff they should of never been hired for Tna.

    2. Hire Paul Heyman and Joey Styles now if Paul Heyman runs the show he can

really turn that company around and make it successful cause they got funding.

    3. Improve the Tna X-Division they need some more wrestlers to compete in that

division bring back Petey Williams, Jack Evans, Jarrell Clark and Johnny Devine.

    4. Bring back the Octagon style ring that's what helped to make Tna very unique.

    5. Nobody over 40 wouldn't be working there Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash &

Sting gotta go. I respect those wrestlers and they are true legends in the sport of

professional wrestler however their time has passed and they need to give chance

to the younger generation of wrestles only exception would be RVD & Kurt Angle.

BQ:) He's just weird he disrespects all of the wrestlers from the independent scene

Bryan Danielson and Kaval. And thankfully he wasn't paired up with Tyler Black for

NXT Season 4 what a joke that would of been if they would of gone through with it.

BQ2:) The match is fine remaining the same for the Intercontinental Championship.

BQ3:) Those would of been some good matches for the streak at Wrestlemania. I

know when WCW was purchased in 2001 they really pushed for Sting to wrestle in

WCW much how a lot of the WCW wrestlers got a chance to do so. He wouldn't.

BQ4:) Jim Ross was arguably the best Wwe Commentator. The reason he turned

heel was because he thought while Michael Cole was covering for him

BQ5:) The only thing I can think off. Is after getting a match with Sheamus Triple H

should wrestle The Miz at Wrestlemania 27 if and only if he's the respective WWE

Champion next year. That way he can help give the Miz credibility and help Miz in

giving him a push wrestle in high profile title matches on a grand stage of them all.

If he really wants to help someone out in getting a push he could drop the belt john

Morrison in Wwe Championship. Triple H is planning on making a return to WWE.

@Human Suplex Machine: What? Your leaving the section? Don't do it your a very

good user and your part of our efed. Tazzy we can't have all of the good users leave.

lol Don't worry HSM, leaving Y!A is actually pretty easy, I haven't answered some questions (besides the e-feds) in a long time now. . . But lol I'll take the time to answer yours (H)

These ideas aren't exactly "original" but hey, it's what I believe needs to be done in the companies

    For WWE:

1 + 2) Cut the over dramatic feuds and story lines and put the focus back into WRESTLING. I mean, the creative writers SUCK. They make Nexus do the same thing OVER AND OVER and turn anything new into something stale and overdone. I'd make them come up with BETTER STORYLINES and actually make the wrestlers WRESTLE in the matches, instead of the same kick-and-punch routine followed by a finisher to end it. Why do matches suck nowadays? Because they repeat the same thing over and over, letting the wrestlers WRESTLE makes thing more interesting. Same thing goes for the feuds and angles.

(lol In case you didn't get my two changes: Better wrestling and more realistic storylines and feuds)

    3) Bring back the Cruiserweight Title. This one's pretty simple, bring back the title so that the smaller, talented wrestlers get a chance to shine and show their abilities.

    4) Revitalize the Women's Division. I mean hell, enough with the eye candy stuff already! It's a WRESTLING COMPANY, so I would let the women actually wrestle, and bring back some honor back into this division, instead of short cat fights most people use as bathroom breaks.

    5) Stop overexposing the wrestlers. I mean this a huge concern. Why do we see new champions every few PPVs? Because Vince overexposes and shoves the current champion down our throats until we get sick of him, then switches with somebody else and starts the whole process all over again. I'd rotate the wrestlers so to keep everything fresh and interesting, the roster is big enough.

I could go on and on but these are the 5 things I would change first.

I haven't kept up with TNA in a while so it won't be as detailed as the WWE Changes.

I would KEEP Hogan, Flair, etc, simply because despite all the complaints, they're putting over the younger talent and giving them recognition, and I'd let them continue to do this. If I would do anything, it would maybe limit the control Hogan and the other known backstage politicians have.

I would put the attention back to the X-Division and let those wrestlers let their actions speak for themselves, like TNA has done before. Same goes for the KO's Division.

The biggest thing I would do is stop trying to please the WWE fans. WWE and TNA are two different companies, with their own distinct style. TNA has been trying too hard to get WWE fans to watch, despite the WWE fanboys always scoffing at TNA's product, no matter how good it is. So I would let TNA develop at its own pace, and let their great wrestling speak for themselves, not cater to people who will never accept the company.

Oh and I'd stop the random face/heel/shock tactics currently in use.

BQ: I don't hate Michael Cole because he's not JR. I hate Cole because he's an incompetent, clueless tool. He's been in the business for like what, 10 years or more? and he still has no wrestling knowledge. He's content to say whatever Vince tells him to say, no matter how idiotic it is, he's just annoying in every way shape or form. His shameless sucking up to the heels, his pathetic catchphrases, EVERYTHING about him ticks me off. He's a COMMENTATOR damn it, do your job and actually COMMENTATE. He's nothing more than a stupid, stupid fool. You know what, add "Fire Michael Cole" to the list of WWE Changes.

BQ2: Nah, I don't think it could be topped. Everything was just right that night, Steamboat and Savage stole the show, with an amazing display, I think if they tried again, the expectations would be too high and it wouldn't be as special. It would turn out great, but not as awesome as the first. Like HBK vs Taker at WM 25 and 26.

YAHOO IS BEING DUMB AND NOT LETTING ME FINISH MY ANSWER SO HERE GOES

BQ3: Taker vs Sting at WM is the top of many fans dream matches, but yeah, HBK vs Sting is no small match either. It would be just as good as Taker vs Sting maybe, I mean hell, we've got two talented performers, able to make each other look good. I think this definitely would be Match of the Year candidate, doubt if it'll flop. It's got the Icon Sting vs the Showstopper - a huge match. Would be great to see.

BQ4: lol It's pretty good I guess. Better than Cole's heel turn anyway. . . but eh, to be honest, I prefer Tazz on the commentary =]

BQ5: Because the fans are hypocritical and don't know what they want. Triple H is one of the best WWE performers there is. He's good in ring, and his mic skills great. He gets the fans to care for him, gets the fans to be interested. Like Cena, hate him or love him, you give him a reaction. So when he's gone, there's a shift in quality and even the Triple H haters notice it. But yeah, the fans go back and forth on a LOT of opinions, this situation just one of them

Unintelligent Q: LOL Yeah I guess he still loves it. Although I think he's more concerned with the fact that his home country Russia is going to host the World Cup in 2010 lol

Revive the tag team division and the cruiserweight division, remove anyone over the age of 50 from active wrestling every week (it's ok of they're backsttage authority figures)

BQ1: Michael Cole is a commentator, commentators should not take sides.

BQ2: The greatest IC championship match of ALL TIME was Davey Boy Smith v Bret Hart at Summerslam '92

BQ3: Sting is 51 years of age, his days of headlining events like Wrestlemania/Starrcade are gone. Sting has never wrestled on WWE TV and never will at this stage.

BQ5: I don't care what anyonw says, Triple H is one of the all time best wrestlers WWE can ever have as World champion. He has the perfect character and personality.

Unintelligent Question: I'll never say anything good about Kozlov, i don't care what anyone else thinks, Kozlov offers nothing to WWE.

  • 1 decade ago

I know you don't want to hear it but it's true. WWE will NEVER be great again until they switch back to TV-14. And TNA, stop acting like WWE with talking the whole show. TNA needs to wrestle a lot more and since they have a TV-14 rating, they can make great matches.

BQ: People just love boing him. I think he's a good announcer but he is no and never will be a J.R. A team of Ross and Cole wouldn't be bad but Jerry and J.R is the best option for WWE. JR and King do Raw, Cole and CM Punk do Smackdown. CM Punk is so funny on commentary and until he heals, let him announce Smackdown with Cole.

BQ2:I honestly don't know. It doesn't matter the title, just the match.

BQ3: Most likely a flop because Sting isn't what you call a 5 star wrestler (technical wrestler). I'm sure It'd be good, but not match of the year. It'd be a great storyline though.

B4: Awesome. BRING BACK JR WWE PLEASE I'M BEGGING YOU

B5: Because a lot of people don't like Triple H. Simple as that. I'm not one of them as HHH is one of the best in my opinion.

Unintelligent Question: lol. No because he is being considered on the same level as Santino Marella.

WWE: Emphasis on developing better characters, longer matches with developed storylines to back it up, make secondary titles more important through those interesting storylines, building an actual tag team division, getting divas who can actually wrestle and reel the crowd in, quit using corny cheesy comedy segments regardless of the PG rating, as Attitude started PG (late 96) and didn't go to TV-14 til 98, yet the comedy/backstage segments were actually still funny and relevant. New passionate writers would do wonders.

TNA: Fire Hogan and Bishoff, push homegrown TNA talent and make them the focal point (Styles, Kaz, Williams, Joe, etc), blood is cool, but not gallons of Flair blood, get better marketing and production values. Push only the "WWE castoff talent" who are actually relevant but not base the entire show around them. Keep the worthwhile veterans (Rhino, Stevie, RVD etc), get rid of others (which they seem to have started doing)

BQ: His actual skills, and the fact that he doesn't have a good counterpart to play off of (Lawler has severely declined, no Ross, no JBL, Striker declined)

BQ2: It probably would have went the same way as HBK/Taker

BQ3: Never thought about HBK and Sting, but I think it would be good. Maybe similar to HBK/Bret, but Sting has always been more agile than Bret.

BQ4: I actually thought it was really good, especially when you would have his own announceres table in front of the original one, and interrupting Cole and Lawler.

BQ5: It's just classic IWC. "I hate Cena" "I love Cena now" "CM Punk rules" "I hate CM Punk"

HAHA! I rarely pay attention to Kozlov.

    part 2:

The next thing I'd change in WWE is I'd just put more time and effort into the tag team division and the women's division. Several years back the tag team and women's division were at an all time high and sometimes were the most watchable divisions. I mean, you had teams like The Hardys who never failed to entertain each week. Also Edge and Christian. The Dudley's, Bros of Destruction, DX, etc. Then in the females division you had legends like Lita and Trish Stratus. Even Torrie Wilson and Victoria were darn entertaining. Now both divisions have gone to pot because honestly it just looks like WWE has forgotten about those two divisions and just abandoned it. There was so much potential for the tag team division but I think it was the 2008 draft where they split up almost every tag team they had. It's rapidly went down hill from then onwards. Now, they've just broken up potentially the best tag team of today, the Hart Dynasty. And for what? They will probably fued for a few weeks, then one of them might get a shot at the US title or something, but then what else? Nothing probably, and it's just a waste. There are no other great tag teams that I can even think of. WWE also wasted time creating too many makeshift tag teams just to give superstars something to do, i.e cody Rhodes and McIntyre. Such a waste! And the women's division has gone downhill mainly because of the best talent leaving. But WWE still have great talent in Natalya, Beth Phoenix and Melina. WWE need to put more time and effort because those two division draw attention and will draw fans. Tag team wrestling is quick, fun and exciting to watch. So bring it back! They need to stop wasting the female talent too. The creative writers need to just give them some material, anything!

As D4L said in his answer, bring back the cruiserweight title. It was arguably the worst decision WWE ever made, getting rid of that title. The cruiserweight title gave the cruiserweights something to aim for. People like Chavo Guerrero wouldn't be cast aside but soon as they ditched it, those people got cast aside. Now all Chavo is good for is dressing up and some stupid eagle and jobbing to hornswoggle. Chavo's actually a good wrestler and it's wasteful. It's a disrespect to that division because now they really have nothing to aim for. It will just bring morale down because sure you're in the vWWE awesome. But you always wanna have a goal and a title to aim for. Cruiserweight titles was good for those guys who will never be world champion. Maybe because they're good in ring but don't have any real charisma or whatever. Or maybe they're not big guys, cause we all know Vince favours the big guys. Evan Bourne, Helms, Chavo, etc, all fit that cruiserweight category and to be honest I can never see any of them as world champions. Evan Bourne could be US champ at push. But cruiserweight was their title for the lower card sort of area and the smaller guys. The cruiserweight title was for the best division, they always have the better more exciting matches. Now they're wasted either jobbing, or just not appearing until they're released. It needs to come back. if they're wasting money on creating two stupid looking diva belts, then they can afford to bring back the cruiserweight belt. otherwise that division is waste just filling match cards and it isn't fair. They have to have something to aim for!

Source(s): I think I have covered the main points. WWE has to change a lot of things in their product. But at the same time, they don't need to change much. Their product still appeals to enough people that the company will stay afloat and continue to make millions. WWE will always be popular. But no one should answer this question saying WWE's main problem is PG, because it really isn't. Wrestling in general has become less popular because there are more other fighting products out there like MMA, UFC all that boxing stuff. Having WWE PG is the best option and route for the company. It's now available for anyone of all ages so we can all enjoy the show. parents need not worry about what their child may see.
