what command prompt can i type to override a gateway disk to load in another brand?
i have a laptop that crashed, the factory disk wont load., i would like to load windows ME from the disks i got with an old gateway. but it says only to be used with a gateway computer ,
nxt line is waiting for a command prompt. is there a command i can type to over ride it, thank you

It can't be done (I think) because it's looking for codes burnt into the firmware.
