Transportation to Heinz Field for Winter Classic - Penguins - Capitals?
I have tickets to the Winter Classic in Pittsburgh and am trying to find information on special buses or shuttles running to the stadium (I am not looking for the bus schedule for the Port Authority). Haven't booked a room yet and will be traveling from Northern New York. Trying to see if a travel company or a bar might have a shuttle running from pretty much any part of Western PA. If all else fails, we'll just take a cab from whatever hotel we get.

Can't answer for the Winter Classic precisely, but for all home Steelers games, the Port Authority runs a "Steelers Shuttle" which is super-convenient. Below in the link field I've posted the bus route for Greater Pittsburgh on game days, and included is the Steelers Shuttle route, which runs downtown and hits all the major hotels.
Now, on the Port Authority website they don't list January 1st as a day they'll be running the Steelers Shuttle, but they'd be silly not to do it for the Winter Classic. Maybe just run the Shuttle and give it a different name. :-)

Well, I dont know exactly how to find all that, but if you want to stay cheap just take the cab. It is cheap and quick.
