How to get pup used to Van rides.?
My 5 month old pup is afraid in the Van when we go for rides. Even if I take my three other dogs, also. He won't sit on the front seat, and I can't force him to look out the window. He just gets off the seat right away, and sits between the two front seats, with his head plastered to my lap, and shakes. He has never gotten car sick. I only take him on short rides. My other dogs all love rides, plus all previous dogs that I have owned. I stroke him gently on his head and back, and talk to him soothingly, but he still won't stop leaning against me with all his might. Should I take him for more short rides, or leave him at home?
I need this pup to get real used to vehicles, as he will be used as a protection dog for the Van, car, truck, and property, when he matures.

you should take him on longer rides take him to places he might like maybe like the dog park all dogs are scared of cars just get someone else to drive put down the windoww and sit next to the window he might sit on you and he might enjoy the breeze he'll start to enjoy rides like that and sooner or later he'll sit in the front on you or in the back with the rest of the dogs.
