Ideas for helping a friend feel a little better?

Her dad was just told he might have prostate cancer...it's not certain yet, but he's starting to show symptoms. She's very upset...I realize there's only so much my friends and I can do to help her...but we want to cheer her up as much as we can. We're all 15 years old so we don't have a lot of options. Do you have any ideas of things we could all do?

It's been a long time since I've been fifteen, so if might be hard to give you a good answer. Well the first think is to try and keep her mind busy, and you guys being friends probably done that already.
I know music has always worked for me, back then and now, it seems to have a thing about healing and protecting ones soul and spirit. So maybe some music might help, something funny to help make her laugh.

Tell her to not get worried and to keep her hopes up for him cause i've found out that the more i worry about something, the worse it gets. then go do something she and her dad like to do together, whether it's going to a movie or going horseback riding. if her dad cant go, then get all her friends together and go to the mall or something, but make sure she doesn't worry. it'll do wonders, trust me 
i hope her dad turns out to be healthy = D
