what would be a analogy for a animal cell? the theme is the North Pole.?

i already have all the parts of the analogy except for mitochondria (power house of the cell) i need an analogy for mitochondria that related to the north pole. it cant be santa clause because i used him for the nucleus.

    I'm thinking the reindeer because they "power" Santa's sleigh.

    The factory that the elves work in? Haha or maybe the kitchen...it provides food (hence, "power") for everyone else in the North Pole.

    Edit: actually, not the factory. That would be more like the ER or the Golgi, since it's the one "producing" the products. THat would sort of make the elves the ribosomes...oh my gosh this project would be too much fun and hilarious...
