41 weeks pregnant, dr seperated my membranes, and mucus plug passed but still nothing happening, what can I do?

to bring on labor? I already tried walking, and sex isn't an option as my membranes are not intact.... My dr said if I don't have the baby by tuesday, she will separate my membranes again and I would like to avoid that since it was so painful!

Sex is safe until your WATER has broken. It doesn't matter if your membranes are intact or not.

If the stretch and sweep will work it will work within 48 hours.

I had 2 done with my second pregnancy, neither worked.

I've had one done so far with this pregnancy, am having another tomorrow and then another Tuesday. If nothing happens I'll have no choice but to be induced on the 8 at 41.4 weeks.

Hmm thats not true about the sweep... Your best chance of it working is 48 hours but it can take up to 5 days to work.

I had my membranes swept on a weds. On friday, i ate spicy food, walked for a short time, did squats, walked up stairs, then drove down bumpy roads for 2 hours. Believe it or not, the bumpy roads kick started my contractions and squats helped me get em to 2 to 3 mins apart!!!
