If Tom Brady or any other quarterback were on the Colts, how bad would he be doing right now?
1) Offensive Lines
Colts:
horrible offensive line - peyton is getting pressured and hit all the time. the 13 sacks he receives means NOTHING to the amount he's getting hit. he just throws the ball away to avoid getting sacked and losing yards
Patriots: great offensive line. probably one of the best in the game
2)
Colts: sloppy and secondary receivers/targets - injured targets like austin collie and dallas clark. reggie wayne is nursing a injury but still playing. the others cannot find a way to get open at all
Patriots: Deion Branch, Wes Welker (top receiver at creating plays and running routes in my opinion), Aaron hernandez, rob g. 4 capable receivers
3) Running Game:
Colts: NO running game. even the announcers are making fun of the colts running game, or lack of (relates to that HORRIBLE offensive line they have).
Patriots: BenJarvus Green-Ellis, who is WAY better than any running back the colts have
this is what happens when manning throws interceptions:
third down, getting pressured, most receivers are covered greatly. what would you do?
plus, the defense can just put a pass defense every time since the colts have no running game. so, their predictable due to their horrible running game.
i know the mistakes were on him, but where else was he going to throw with pressure going at him?
manning getting hit on running play ----> ridiculously bad offensive line
krazy, the only reason why the colts 6-5 right now (not including the result of the cowboys-colts game) is because of peyton. without peyton, they would have AT LEAST one more lost
Colts top guy for Manning: Wayne, Clark, Collie, Addai (pass blocking). Only Wayne is in there and he has a little injury.
ik you're a colts fan, just making a point to the peyton haters. hey peyton manning haters, hate him while you can. it's a rare opportunity to hate on a great player like him.
brady might not of had a running game, but at least he had a good offensive line, unlike manning.

Running game is the MAIN reason, not the only reason, Peyton is throwing so many ints. Some bad throws, but even when they try to run the ball to set up some sort of passing game, Peyton Manning is hit ON A RUNNING PLAY. Rediculous. Some people forget that the Colts were ranked last in rushing the last two seasons. A great qb can make you forget about it. The guy went to the Super Bowl last year with the worst running game in the league and no defense. Now people want to crap all over him.
Not to mention the Colts defense have forced ZERO turnovers the last three games. Worst special teams field position in the league, and worst running game. Terrible Colts team all the way around.
I know, I'm a Colts fan son. By the way, Make that ONE turnover the last 3 games and what a difference it makes.
To the one guy, Brady did have a running game then. There's a big difference from the last in rushing offense, and not good rushing offense. A big big difference. You would only not understand what a rushing attack does for a qb if you didn't understand football. The 2010 Colts could be the worst rushing team in NFL history

Manning is throwing picks because he's not used to having to worry about his receivers. He's been fortunate to work with the same great receievers for years. He knows their routes and timing and knows how they'll work, now he actually has to work to get the ball to his receivers and he's making the mistakes. Brady and other QB's have shown the ability handle 3rd down pressure and not throw INT's, but Manning cracks under pressure.
As far as Brady having great receivers, go back and watch the 1st half of the season. Watch how many dropped balls the Pats receivers had. The Ravens game and the Browns game are excellent examples. Brady would hit them in the numbers and they'd constantly drop the ball. Brady still didn't start throwing tons of INT's.
Brady didn't have a running game in 06 or 07, yet the Pats were winning consistently. The Colts are depleted right now, but Manning should be stepping up and doing something, instead he's crumbling under the pressure.

For starters, Jason Campbell is aware of this base variety of offense. It's West Coast. He simply has to be taught Jim Zorn's variation of it. Jason ran west coast at Auburn. Every instruct has their possess little tweaked variation of it. Jason Campbell may also be very positive and underneath core for the skins for a protracted, very long time. The most effective disorders that they have got had occurred this night, and that typically was once breakdown in safety, dropped balls, and simply total sloppy play. Just due to the fact that a workforce loses in preseason forty seven-three does not imply that its the QB's fault, or that the QB is not going to determine in the end, it simply signifies that the workforce has a couple of matters to paintings on as a complete. Now if it was once the qb's fault as to why the had been wasting, say an complete season or a minimum of the largest side, then that qb probably watching for an extra activity. Bottom line is Campbell would be the commencing QB this yr in Washington, until he's injured. As a ways as Colt Brennon being the following Tom Brady, who is aware of? How many persons knew Tom Brady was once Tom Brady, earlier than he grew to be the "Tom Brady"
