What Desktop PC Should I Get?

I want to buy a PC but I'm not sure which one to get. I need a PC which can be used to go on the internet, can be used to type up documents and that's basically it(nothing special). The only specification I have is that it has to be fast(probably windows 7). I'm on a bit of budget, under £400, what should i get?

How about the COMPAQ Presario SG3110uk-m Desktop PC???

(not really sure)

Thanks for any help

I don't go by name brands as they are all similar and all work. Make sure you get at least a dual-core processor at 3.0GHz or more and 3 to 4GB of ram. DDR2 ram is fine, DDR3 even better. These 2 things matter most for speed and should be ok in your price range. I like AMD processors for most for the price but Intel is fine too. For what you do, not much else is needed. Your kind of work isn't very power consuming.

In your price range the best parts per dollar come from the AMD Phenom II series of processors. I can damn near guarantee when your looking for your new pc stay away from Intel CPUs (for now).
