How to help a suicidal friend?
My best friend recently stopped going to school, hasn't answered her phone, and hasn't been on facebook. Then, last week, she was admitted into the psych ward for attempted suicide. I don't know all the details; but I am visiting her tomorrow morning. How to help/what to say/what to talk about? I love her so much and I'm just shocked that she could do this. I'm one of two friends she's told about it.

You should contact a parent or another friend to talk with her. If it gets too serious, I would even contact the police. Remember, whatever you do can help her, and it's okay to contact anyone you trust. I had a friend like that, and I told his friend and it was worked out. I felt silly calling him at 2 am (his friend) but I knew it was for the best. Also, when you go to visit her, let her know how much she means to you. She just needs a bit of guidance. Good luck

well maybe you can talk about whatever good times you had with this person. then maybe she will think twice before attempting suicide in the future. or anything else positive in her life.try to give her a reason to live.maybe tell her how it would affect you or her family if she went through with that.

try to talk to her about what she is doing to herself and that what she is doing is just hurting her and other people she loves give her some tips to stop such as writing about her problems instead of trying to commit suicide.
