How do you deal with the abusive boyfriend of your sister in law?
She's giving him a second chance and my wife and I don't want to have anything to do with the guy. She's trying to integrate him back into the family, we really don't want to see the scumbag anymore, but we really want what's best for her. What to do?

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do since she is the one who wants to forgive the creep. What I would do is to try to be there for your sister in law if she continues to have any problems. To deal with anyone abusive is borrowing trouble. If you have seen this person hurt your sister in law physically, what I would do is flat out tell your sister in law that he is not welcome anywhere near you or your family-BUT invite her over so you do not alienate her. Dealing with abusive people-you just don't do that. They will not change nor will they want to change unless they seek help. Let your sister in law know that you love her first and foremost...
Good luck!

Simple: tell her how you feel.
