Should I be concerned with plateauing if I only lift weights to stay toned?
Is plateauing only a problem for body builders or will it impact my results as well? I'm already at the size I want.
1 AnswerOther - Sports1 decade agoHow do you deal with the abusive boyfriend of your sister in law?
She's giving him a second chance and my wife and I don't want to have anything to do with the guy. She's trying to integrate him back into the family, we really don't want to see the scumbag anymore, but we really want what's best for her. What to do?
3 AnswersFamily1 decade agoWhy do people generally only attribute good luck to God, but not bad luck? Like in Chile for example?
They say it's a miracle that God saved all these miners, but what if they had died? Whose fault would that have been? Or for that matter, when God decides to save a starving child, why doesn't he/she save all the other starving children? Or even better, why let anyone starve in the first place?
I'm not trying to provoke anyone, I'm only trying to understand the thinking behind this ideology. Since so many people are saying it's a miracle that these miners have been saved. I'm glad that they have been too. But is that really what it's about? Finding something to rejoice in and attributing it to God? For the sake of finding something positive in a world so full of tragedy?
Thanks in advance for your honest answers.
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIs it possible to buy a car in another state but register it in your home state at the time of purchase?
Do you have to pay taxes in both states when you do that? I'm thinking of buying a car in NY and driving it across the country. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks
3 AnswersBuying & Selling1 decade agoShould we take our dog to the vet or is this not serious?
Our 1 year old boston terrier is a very active normal dog. He runs just fine, jumps up fine, doesn't look like he's ever uncomfortable walking or being generally active. However, a few weeks ago he tried to jump onto my lap when I was sitting on a table and he didn't jump high enough and fell back down onto the floor. He yelped when he hit the floor and wouldn't put any weight on his hind right leg for a few minutes, but then he started running around like normal again. My concern is that since then he's yelped a few times if we grab him just the wrong way and we don't know if its an injury or just the way we grab him. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks
11 AnswersDogs1 decade ago25% of 17 year old Americans don't know who Hitler was, and there are many similar stats. What ideas do you
have to improve our countries education system? As someone who has worked in low income school districts to improve reading levels in elementary school, I have the impression that parents play a larger role in this than the schools. I will concede that the beaurocracy and redundant standardized testing of our education system waste a lot of valuable time, but who else can you blame when kids aren't doing their homework? Do you agree? Disagree? Do you have any ideas of how to break this cycle?
3 AnswersOther - Education1 decade agoWhy does Giuliani still get to participate in the debates but Ron Paul not?
Paul has more support than Giuliani and Thomson combined but he was denied participation first by Fox due to not having enough support.

7 AnswersOther - Food & Drink1 decade agoIs this aggressive behavior or just normal play? I have a 5 month old Boston Terrier and sometimes I let him?
chase me around the house and when we stop he jumps up and barks and growls. Is this normal play or is it aggressive behavior that I shouldn't allow? I love it, and he absolutely respects me and my wife as the alphas, but I don't want to encourage aggressiveness. Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks
11 AnswersDogs1 decade agoWould you go to the funeral? My in-laws have a friend whose daughter has been a heroin addict for the last 15?
years. Her 19 year old son just OD'd yesterday. I know them from a few holiday events over the years and really thought the kid had potential. The fact that we suspect his mom introduced him to heroin is what is really making this hard. I should go for him, but I really blame his mother and don't know what I'll do if I see the scumbag.
Would you go?
5 AnswersFriends1 decade agoTo all the people calling Hillary a cry baby, put your glasses on and watch the video again. How can you be?
making a deal about THIS when Huckabee is running around with Chuck Norris????!!!!! How stupid does Huckabee think the american public is? What has Chuck Norris ever done to make himself a noteworthy supporter? The best thing he ever did was get his as$ beat by Bruce Lee on film.
6 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoDo you think that ABC's decision to exclude Denis Kusinich from the debates yesterday was undemocratic?
Even though he doesn't have the same support around the country, and has been labeled an extreme leftist, doesn't democracy call for his point of view to be presented to the country? I think its a shame that this happens every time we have a presidential election. It's not as if he's advocating we all join the jihad. His ideas are not mainstream and perhaps too ''idealistic'', which ironically is a bad thing, but I think they should at least be allowed in the debates. What do you say?
4 AnswersCurrent Events1 decade agoHow easy is surfing the web on a smart phone with Wi-fi? Is it really slow or difficult? Is the technology?
not good enough to make browsing convenient? I'm thinking of getting either an HTC s710 or a Sony Ericsson p1i but have also looked at the Nokia E63, which isn't a smartphone, but has wifi and a browser.
Thanks
