Does it bother anyone else out there that the FDA doesn't require labeling on cloned food that says its cloned
Why or why not?
Sorry, I should have specified: cloned Cow's, Sheep, Poultry, and Hogs. Of course plant cloning is normal farming practice and has been going on for centuries, but this relatively new phenomenon has no substantial testing behind it.
These products are already on our shelves, but they are not being labeled.

Here's the bigger question... How in thee hell in the year 2008 can this even be possible. They have to have labels on if the meat is All natural vs. Organic, yet they can have cloned meat and require no label for that!! It makes no sense people!
Those people don't care about the health of the AMerican public this is all about investors and money. They are going to push this through regardless of how safe or unsafe it is. They have strict laws in place to make sure that they label what is in a jar of picante sauce, yet for some strange reason, there is no labels needed to inform the public if the meat is a clone or not!

I wasn't aware that cloned anything was being sold yet. But I wouldn't care. That is an untapped resource. Rather than cutting down more lush tropical forests to breed livestock, we can farm raise enough food for everyone. I'm sure it tastes just the same. I have no moral objection to cloning, so long as it doesn't get out of control with human cloning, cuz that's just a little freaky.

Cloning is a fairly complicated procedure and not very widespread so that's probably why. But what, if anything, is being cloned out there? Many growing things have always been started from peaces off a parent plant. And it's way too expensive to clone food animals, so what are we talking about here?

.Absolutely, I want to know about everything I eat. I do not want to eat anything cloned. I do not know the long term affects nor do I think it is morally correct.
