Do you think that ABC's decision to exclude Denis Kusinich from the debates yesterday was undemocratic?

Even though he doesn't have the same support around the country, and has been labeled an extreme leftist, doesn't democracy call for his point of view to be presented to the country? I think its a shame that this happens every time we have a presidential election. It's not as if he's advocating we all join the jihad. His ideas are not mainstream and perhaps too ''idealistic'', which ironically is a bad thing, but I think they should at least be allowed in the debates. What do you say?

Update:

To Baconato: This is not simply an event. This is a presidential debate broadcast to millions of people whose votes will decide who the next president is. The main media outlets, of which ABC is one of the biggest, set the agenda for public discourse. This IS a big deal.

    Yes...

...and this is one of those miserable consequence of our election process - which is in itself, truly undemocratic. One would think that with all the means of communication that there would be far, far more discussions and debates not just at the national level but at the local level as well, but no...

Dennis Kucinich is the best candidate, I agree.

The candidate-selection process is seriously flawed and by any valid analysis, now the voting process is too. I don't think I'll be voting this coming November, because there are too many methods now which negates our votes making them worthless. We have an engineered society, a political-media driven system that in essence, manufactures consensus... and that is undemocratic.

Time for violence against corporatism, against the fascism that we have been warned about, but apparently have now become. Boycotts don't work - all they understand is fear, power, and death, unfortunately. So demonstrate what tactical power we do have, put the fear in THEM...

Good luck, because we are not looking at pleasant times ahead.

It's fair, all the candidates had to meet at least one of three criteria:

Place first through fourth in Iowa, poll 5 percent or higher in one of the last four major New Hampshire surveys, or poll 5 percent or higher in one of the last four major national surveys.

Any candidate able to accomplish this was able to be in the debate, and they were aware of this fact before the Iowa elections.

    Yes, but so what???

ABC News is not a democracy - it is not the government - it does not determine the outcome of the election - it is not illegal or unconstitutional - it is a business hosting an event - they can invite whomever they want to invite.
