Is America a good place to live?

Depends on what you are comparing to. Most people will say "THE BEST! OMG YAY AMERICA" But they dont realize how America is set up. It's a money game, and the citizens are just pawns. We Americans are told what to eat, wear, listen to, watch...and most people dont question it. Most people just think "oh this is a good product, this is a good band, yadda yadda yadda"

See our culture pushes stuff on people so much, that people begin to think that they came to their own conclusion on something. But what really happens is that you are pushed to get this and this and this so you can line the pockets of the elite.

But, if you are coming from a country that's even more corrupt, then it might be an excellent place. But dont believe all the BS about being free. We are made to believe we are free, but we are programmed through the media to think one way. I'm not necessarily talking about a conspiracy, even if it's unintentional (i doubt it) constant advertisements and other media constantly brainwash us. A lot of other places have this, but it's BAD in america.

All that said, we do have a lot of freedoms. We have choice, but we are constantly manipulated (not forced) to make the "right" choices for the ruling class. But they don't throw us in jail for stupid things (MOST of the time), and we arent killed for no reason. So in that aspect, not bad. Still, not close to my standards of a "good" place to live.

Better then Africa but you should go to Canada instead. More stable economy, better healthcare, less fat people, better IQ (less morons). Also safer then the US, since we actually have gun control and since we didn't alienate half of the world by being assholes, no one want to bomb us.

As long as you can stand the cold for half the year, Canada is awesome
