If I want to bank with a bank that is on the precipice of collapse, then Santander would be it.
If I want to bank with a bank that loses it's customers money and then ignores them, Santander would be it.
If I want to bank with a bank that employs thick, gormless women who have no idea of the products the bank sells. Have no idea of customer service. Have no idea of what they are doing and make policy up as they go along simply to get you out the door and they can go back to gossipping about X Factor, Eastenders and Cheryl Cole's new shoes, then bank with Santander.
They have the worst record for customer complaints.
Source(s): Experince from staff at Cheadle branch, Manchester. All the above happened whilst I was waiting for someone to do their banking. I wouldn't bank with them. - Anonymous1 decade ago
Absolutely nothing would induce me to bank at Santander, it is Spanish owned and Spain is in line to go the same way as Greece, Ireland and soon Portugal. And they will all look to Britain to help bale them out.
